Saint Patrick’s Day is fast approaching. A day for us Irish to celebrate… well, being Irish! This festive day is a highlight in the year for young and old. It is a day to celebrate our little nation in all its glory. Parade preparations are in full swing for many, and for others, it’s the added pep to their step at the delight of a 4 day week!

There are many fun ways to spend this wonderful day with family and friends. Whether you are a loyal parade-goer or fancy a get together at home with your nearest and dearest, we have ideas to cater for all your needs.

Our Holycross Chocolate Biscuit Cake is the answer to your prayers this Saint Patrick’s Day. It is the perfect snack to keep the children’s spirits up when they hit that mid-day slump. Our range of Chocolate Biscuit Cake can be sliced prior to the parade, ready to munch on whenever it’s needed.

Our Chocolate Biscuit Cake is the ideal sharing log for all your friends and family to enjoy. From a range of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and rocky road, there is a nice variety to suit everyone.

Are you fretting at the thought of children bright-eyed and full of excitement on their morning off?  How will you entertain them? Why not spend time together and keep them occupied with some fun in the kitchen? This year, in lieu of Saint Patrick’s Day, we have decided to add an Irish twist to the Holycross Chocolate Biscuit Cake. Don’t worry, there is little preparation involved and the children can take control for the most part. Mams and Dads, you may need to stick around to help at wash-up time. Happy decorating with your little chefs.

So we hope that your Chocolate logs add a touch of colour to your day! From all of us at The Tipperary Kitchen and Holycross Stores, Lá Fhéile Pádraig.
